This week-long experience is designed for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors (as of the 2026-27 school year) who are eager to dive into the world of media. Whether students are beginners or already have some artistic or technical experience, our sessions offer something for everyone. Over four full days, campers will explore hands-on sessions in filmmaking, advanced cinematography techniques, screenwriting, stop-motion animation, double exposure photography, drone cinematography, Photoshop techniques, and more. Every session will be led by Crown College Media Arts faculty and/or industry professionals, with additional assistance from current Crown College students.
When: Monday–Thursday, June 22–25, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Where: 8700 College View Drive, Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota
One of my favorite parts of the camp is the final showcase, where we will present the work campers have created to their family and friends. This is a great opportunity for young creatives to see their ideas come to life and celebrate what they’ve learned.
The camp includes lunch, snacks, and a T-shirt for $300, and you can view a list of each day's sessions on our camp page. Registration will open in February 2026. I invite you to reach out with any questions. Launching this camp feels like a meaningful next step for our program, and it reflects the energy and growth happening here at Crown. I can’t wait to see what stories and art our campers will bring this summer!
