Media Camp 2026

This June, we're inviting high schoolers to Crown for an exciting week of creative exploration! Campers will make short films, learn advanced cinematography techniques, animate, design, and more. Sessions are suitable for both beginners and experienced students interested in art and/or technology.

Who: Upcoming High School Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors (2026-27 Grade Level)
When: Monday–Thursday, June 22–25, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Where: Crown College Campus, 8700 College View Drive, Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota
What: A variety of creative sessions will be run by Crown College Media Arts professors and/or industry professionals (schedule below). The camp concludes with a showcase featuring work made by campers.
Cost: $300 (includes lunch, snacks, and T-shirt)

Schedule
Monday: Double exposure photography, light painting, studio lighting, portrait sessions, and Photoshop techniques.
Tuesday: Screenwriting exercises, video production equipment training, and slow-motion video.
Wednesday: Short film production and editing.
Thursday: Rotoscoping animation & stop motion stations, drone cinematography, sound editing, and final showcase (4 p.m. in Simpson Auditorium).
