Crown Students Receive Five Student Production Award Nominations

Our growing media arts program proves it can compete with larger, more-established schools in the region.

We are proud to announce that Crown media arts students have received five Student Production Award Nominations from the Upper Midwest Emmy® Foundation! These nominations come from the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, a membership organization dedicated to excellence in video and television. The Upper Midwest Chapter covers a five-state region including Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and western Wisconsin. The full list of 2026 nominees is available here.

This is the first time Crown students have been nominated for these prestigious regional awards. Nominated projects were created in Crown classes and include documentaries, commercial video, and 3D animation. Here are the Crown nominations sorted by category:
